Welcome, I’m Imogen.
I’m a bereaved big sister and partner,
who’s experienced the waters
of grief deeply.
I’m also a Mother, Artist and
Certified Grief Educator.
I support people as they move through life’s big thresholds such as grief, birth, and the identity shifts that come with motherhood.
Whatever your experience looks like, I walk alongside you with compassion and creativity.
“Grief is love that has nowhere to go. When we give it shape through ritual, story, or art, it becomes a source of connection rather than isolation.”
-Francis Weller
“Art heals not because it cures, but because it allows us to express what cannot be spoken.”
- Shaun McNiff
What’s beneath
the surface?
"We were never meant to
do hard things alone.'“
- Brené Brown
I hold a first-class honours degree in Illustration from the University of the West of England. Throughout my twenties I took part in artist residencies around the world, working across disciplines including jewelry making and sculpture.
After losing my beloved partner and my fourteen-year-old brother in close succession, my creative work took on a new depth and direction, becoming a way to understand loss, and support others through life’s major thresholds.
I am a Certified Grief Educator with David Kessler and in facilitating Birth Art, with Birthing From Within, weaving creativity into the way I support people through change.
Grief can show up in all areas of life.
“Even changes we choose can involve grief.”
- Lucy Jones’s, from her book, Matrescence
“Matrescence is as significant a developmental transition as adolescence.”
- Dr Alexandra Sacks
