“Shark Fin Cove” was inspired by one of my favourite coves along Highway 1 in California.
I would often stop to marvel at the morning light illuminating the ‘shark fin’ rock that rises from the shark-inhabited waters.
It felt like a world away from Devon, UK, where I grew up.
This piece is my first oil painting. The frame is fitted with picture-hanging wire, ready to bring a window into the California coast to your space.
